Automate With Kelly

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about Excel/VBA automation, dashboards, pricing, and support.

What services do you offer?

I build Excel & Access automations, custom macros (VBA), dashboards & reports, and data processing workflows. I also clean messy data and connect spreadsheets to email and other tools when helpful.

How do we get started?

Send a short description of your process and a small sample file. I’ll review and propose the quickest path (often a small pilot), a fixed/not‑to‑exceed quote, and a target completion date.

Do you sign NDAs and keep my data private?

Yes. I’m happy to sign an NDA. Files are kept private, versioned safely, and deleted on request after delivery. No data is shared without written permission.

What’s the typical turnaround time?

Most quick automations ship in 2–5 business days after scope lock. Bigger dashboards are delivered in milestones so you see progress and can adjust along the way.

How is pricing handled?

Small jobs are usually a flat price. Larger projects can be milestone‑based with a not‑to‑exceed cap. I’ll recommend the least expensive solution that’s robust and maintainable.

What versions of Excel are supported?

Excel 365 preferred; Excel 2016+ on Windows supported. Access projects include version checks and references set‑up. Mac support available with equivalent features where possible.

Do you provide documentation and training?

Yes—a quick‑start guide and inline comments are standard. Optional video walkthrough and a one‑page SOP are available.

What about maintenance and support?

Includes a 14–30 day warranty window for bug fixes. Ongoing update/support plans are available if you want a safety net for new data or feature tweaks.

How do updates and licensing work?

For tools that need it, I can add activation/subscription checks to protect IP but keep usage simple for your team. You’ll get an admin method to refresh or extend licenses.

What file formats do you accept and deliver?

I accept .xlsx/.xlsm, .csv, and Access .accdb. Delivery is typically .xlsm (for macros) plus a read‑me. If you prefer, I can also package a locked runtime version.
